Despite the mountain of red tape you needed to skirt to submit your entry, the MLB 2K11 Million Dollar Perfect Game Challenge was completed on the first day of the contest. High school music teacher, Brian Kingrey, used Phillies pitcher, Roy Halladay, against the Astros to accomplish the nail-biting feat and now finds himself one million dollars richer. After paying off some debts, Kingrey said his first major purchase would be a new refrigerator. The man just received 20 years of his music teacher salary in one lump sum and he’s heading straight for the shiny new Kenmore. He’s living the high life now. [via Game Informer]
