Rockstar Games is clearly so excited about launching L.A. Noire next week that they're busting off a bit early. Today they released the "launch trailer," giving a few new looks at the atmosphere and characters that gamers will be encountering as they roam 1940s Los Angeles. Nice to see Jimmy Barrett from Mad Men Season 1 in there—should make the guy playing main character Cole Phelps (Aaron Staton, who also plays Ken Cosgrove on Mad Men) feel a bit more comfortable. The many lurid cases of L.A. Noire land on your desk Tuesday, May 17.
