Blaxploitation flick Foxy Brown has two midnight showings this Friday and Saturday at IFC Center. It's something fans of the genre have most likely already seen, but it's definitely worth checking out on the big screen.

The film's leading lady, Pam Grier, was arguably the first female action star, was the first female lead in a blaxploitation film, and appeared in a string of them throughout the 70s. Foxy Brown is one of her most revered roles, and for good reason too; she exudes both sexiness and kickassness equally.

Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14
