DOCUMENTARY: EYES ON THE PRIZE, 9 & 10 PM, PBS The NBC comedy lineup is all repeats tonight, so take the opportunity to edify (it means learn) yourself with these encore showings of the thorough-in-every-borough seven-part doc on the Civil Rights Movement. Tonight's episode covers the Greensboro lunch counter sit-ins and the Birmingham Children's Crusade, among other pivotal events. And the next time somebody says an athlete is "brave" for playing through an injury or a musician is "courageous" for stepping outside their lane, just mention the names Addie Mae, Denise, Carol, and Cynthia.
REALITY: THE FIRST 48, 9 PM, A&E Our favorite real-life police procedural visits Louisville, Kentucky.
MOVIE: MONTEREY POP, 7 PM, SUNDANCE CHANNEL Concert footage and behind the scenes goings on at the seminal 1967 rock n' roll festival, with performances by Jimi Hendrix, the Who, and Otis Redding, just six months before he died.
SPORTS: CAVS @ BULLS, 8 PM & LAKERS @ NUGGETS, 10:30 PM, TNT With five games to play, the Bulls are just a half game out of the final playoff spot in the East, while the Nuggets are still technically able to overtake L.A. for home court in the West (but not if they lose tonight).
