Stop the presses! Disney is going back to the basics and making a traditional (non-CGI) cartoon musical movie called The Princess and the Frog. And the big news is that, for the first time in Disney Animation Studio's 72 year history, the princess is will be black! Awesome, right? We thought so, but it seems a lot of people are pissed off that they decided to make her Prince white.

Well, we can't say we didn't see this coming. Even with a half black/half white President, Hollywood is still Hollywood and some things just never change. It seems like the only way that a black actress can get cast in a major mainstream role is if their leading man is white. Don't believe us? Take a look back at some notable black woman x white man collabos on the big screen...

soulman_480
SOUL MAN (1986)
C. Thomas Howell & Rae Dawn Chong
• Nevermind the black face or the affirmative action bashing'there's one thing that we couldn't understand about this horribly offensive '80s flick. When they were getting busy, didn't his girl notice that he was Off The Wall MJ up top and Dangerous MJ down low?

bronxtale_480
A BRONX TALE (1993)
Lillo Brancato & Taral Hicks
• Our theory: the only reason Taral got the role of Brancato's love interest is director Bobby DeNiro's well-documented love of black women.

guesswho
GUESS WHO (2005)
Aston Kutcher & Zoe Saldana
• Guess who's coming to dinner? One of the corniest white men on the planet. Poor Zoe, this should have been an episode of Punk'd.

malibu-interracial-relationships
MALIBU'S MOST WANTED (2003)
Jamie Kennedy & Regina Hall
• The second most offensive movie on this list (right behind Soul Man). Jamie Kennedy FAIL.

monstersball
MONSTERS BALL (2001)
Billy Bob Thorton & Halle Berry
• If Halle wasn't so goddamn bad, we would have never forgiven her for getting savaged by Billy Bob. Could you imagine a movie where Denzel gets his Mr. Marcus on with Scarlett Johansson? Well, we can definitely imagine it, but Hollywood would never let it happen.

large_lakeview-terrace-interracial1
LAKEVIEW TERRACE (2008)
Patrick Wilson & Kerry Washington
• We were gonna get mad about this one... but then we saw that in the movie, Wilson blows ganja while listening to Public Enemy, stands up to his girl's father and then kills a cop. Go 'head, playboy!

zebrahead
ZEBRAHEAD (1992)
Michael Rapaport & N'Bushe Wright
• A big racial fight explodes in a Detriot high school, all because Wright chooses the white kid over the black gangster. Kinda like Save The Last Dance with balls.

something-new-interracial
SOMETHING NEW (2006)
Simon Baker & Sanaa Lathan
• Sorry, but there's no way a woman who looks like Sanaa Lathan couldn't find a black guy to treat her right. Dude from The Mentalist must have tricked her into this somehow.

madeinamerica_480
MADE IN AMERICA (1993)
Ted Danson & Whoopi Goldberg
• Whoopi falls in love with her sperm donor, who just happens to be white. No love lost'we're not sure who else would hit her off but Ted Danson. Maybe Stevie Wonder. Ouch.

strangedays-interracial
STRANGE DAYS (1995)
Ralph Fiennes & Angela Bassett
• A white cop tries to solve the murder of his prostitute "friend". But this ain't no Pretty Woman shit. Remember, in Hollywood, a prostitute is only a prostitute if they're black.

boilerroom
BOILER ROOM (2000)
Giovannni Ribisi & Nia Long
• We gave a big SMH to Nia Long for this one. Out of all the white guys she could let hit, she choose the one working for an incorporated Ponzi scheme that got the feds after him? So it's alright for black girls to date criminals as long as they're white? GTFOH.

thebodyguard_480
THE BODYGUARD (1992)
Kevin Coster & Whitney Houston
• Alright, okay...if a dude saves your life, you do kinda owe him a li'l somethin', somethin'. No?

TV BONUS!
startrek-kiss
STAR TREK (1968)
William Shatner & Nichelle Nichols
• We can't blame Nichelle for getting at James T. Kirk. After all, he was the captain. And it's not like there were any other black people on the Starship.
