Did Tyga Just Troll Birdman and Quote His Own Mixtape Title?

The back and forth between Tyga and his former label allegedly gets a new chapter thanks to T-Raww's new mixtape title.

In 2015, Tyga publicly confirmed his desire to sever all business ties with Cash Money Records.

“I’m getting out the deal now,” Tyga told Hot 97’s Ebro Darden. “It was a great opportunity, and I learned a lot being around Wayne and stuff. Also, I grew as a person, an artist, and a businessman. I started realizing the business wasn’t right.”

A more recent interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club last week found Tyga getting more specific, claiming Birdman owes him $12 million. Given the nature of the 24-hour news cycle, there was a back-and-forth, and naturally, a TMZ report citing anonymous sources that ran counter to Tyga's claims. The report alleged Tyga owed Cash Money one more album, but the label allowed him to walk due to sluggish sales.

When TMZ’s ever-present cameras caught up with Tyga again for a rebuttal, Tyga appears to say, “That’s that Bitch I’m the Shit 2.”

The audio isn’t entirely clear, so Tyga could merely be plugging his latest mixtape, Bitch I’m The Shit 2. TMZ opted to run with a headline that read, “Tyga Fires Back at Birdman ...‘Tell That Bitch I'm The Shit Too!’” as in Tyga called his former label CEO a bitch.

It should be noted that while alleging Birdman and Cash Money owed him millions, Tyga never got out of pocket and called the Cash Money CEO a “bitch” on wax or in interviews.

Even the track “Cash Money,” weighs in on the milder side, with Tyga rhyming, “Somebody must have heard me when I prayed/Cause I’m paid cash money/Uh Cash Money never paid me/But your boy did his thing/Still make cash money…”

The track also contains shouts out to both Wayne and B.G.—two of the handful of artists to make similar claims of not being properly paid by Birdman and Cash Money Records.

Given all of the above, it would seem somewhat out of character for Tyga to suddenly switch up and call Birdman out of his name, but the video is saved for prosperity. Watch it above or over at TMZ and judge for yourself.
