Trick Daddy Demands an Apology From Meek Mill for Suggesting Miami Is Not a Trendsetter

Trick Daddy claims Meek Mill's visa to Miami has expired.

Trick Daddy went the traditional rapper route to address and/or ignite a feud with one of his peers by getting on Instagram to respond to some comments made by Meek Mill in a recent interview on Ebro in the Morning on Hot 97. "Miami ni**as are not followers... Don't use my city or my ni**as for character references," Trick said, in a transcript courtesy of HNHH. "I will get out of character. Do not fuck with me. Dirt bikes, Cuban links, and Yachts? We cocaine cowboys, ni**a."

Trick Daddy's issue appears to be that he believes Meek insinuated that the people of Miami are followers. However, if you take a closer look at the Philly rapper's remarks, he's actually talking about using his influence to motivate the youth to strive to get things like Cuban links and yachts.

"I don't think you know. When you see people rolling their skullies up, when you see people with the diamond chains... everybody's wearing Cuban links, when you see people in Miami on the yachts now on Instagram -- that come from the influence of Meek Mill, the Dreamchasers, because they believe us," Meek said. You can watch his full comment, which starts at the 13:45 mark.

In addition to informing Meek that "your visa has expired," Trick Daddy is also demanding an apology to him and his city. "Ever since you lost your girl, you've been trippin'," Trick said. "As a matter of fact, your visa has expired... You owe me and my city an apology."

Fittingly, Meek will be in Miami tonight to celebrate the release of his third studio album, Wins & Losses.

So, when exactly does that visa go into effect?
