Aaron Carter, the 29-year-old former pop star behind “Aaron’s Party” (a song that has followed me my entire life), was arrested for suspected DUI Saturday in Habersham County, Georgia. Carter refused a Breathalyzer and testing of his blood and urine. He was also found in possession of marijuana and drug-related objects, according to TMZ.

Carter, who faces misdemeanor charges, was with his girlfriend, Madison Parker, when he was arrested. She was also arrested. Carter was reportedly released on $4,610 bond.

Now, footage has surfaced of Carter in Tampa, Fla., last Monday commenting on Shia LaBeouf’s recent arrest for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and obstruction.

“You won't catch me getting any DUIs,” Carter says in the video, which you can watch below via TMZ.

Carter also said he can’t tell if LaBeouf is “out of his gourd or a genius.”

Carter released an EP titled Love in February of this year. The singer was scheduled to make an appearance in Kansas City on the day of his arrest, but he tweeted before his arrest that he was unable to make the performance because of “transportation issues.”
