2 Chainz Turned His Pink Trap House Installation Into a Free HIV Testing Center

The Pink Trap House has become a popular Atlanta attraction since first popping up around the release of 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.'

2 Chainz turned his wildly popular Pink Trap House installation in Atlanta into a temporary site for free HIV testing Tuesday. Chainz, the Fulton County Board of Health, Test Atlanta, and Atlanta Aids partnered for the Trap Clinic on Independence Day, offering free tests between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. local time.

Just two days earlier, Chainz flipped the Pink Trap House into the Trap Church for a one-time service. "I appreciate 2 Chainz and the whole team for putting this house up because in a lot of respects it's reminding people that this is a real thing in our city," Pastor Michael Wortham toldFox 5 Atlanta Sunday. "So people come and take pictures, put it up on Instagram and walk away, but there are a lot of people who aren't able to walk away from this daily reality."

The Pink Trap House was established to commemorate the release of Chainz' (excellent) new album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, which dropped June 16 and opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 behind Lorde's Melodrama. Though the space (which also houses an art gallery) was originally set to run through July 6, a Chainz rep said this weekend the site's popularity may result in an extended stay.

Next for the Pretty Girls Like Trap Music experience is a run of shows with the Trap Choir. 2 Chainz hits the Tabernacle in Atlanta Aug. 1 before taking the show through Dallas, Oakland, Salt Lake City, and more. Get full dates here.
