Records Collection, the guys behind Paris Music Week, are preparing to release their new compilation [2018], a handpicked collection of electronica and pop from around the world. In the build up to the comp's release (June 23), we've got the exclusive first stream of "Burn" from French producer Tachyons. Sonically, it's a piano-led piece of dubby techno that has been given a rich soulful quality by Brecly's vocals as the singer croons passionately about love and attraction. In an email to Complex, Tachyons explained the meaning behind the track:

"I wrote the track 'Burn' a year ago with the idea of talking about love as a metaphor. This very particular and powerful emotion which can make us feel alive and dead at the same time. The message I wanted to share is the fact that we need to burn the very fire that consumes us in order to survive the suffering. It was the perfect occasion to talk about attraction and how theres sometimes too much focus on the details. I signed this song to Records Collection, which means a lot because it's actually my very first official release."

Listen to "Burn" exclusively below.

"Burn" features on Records Collection's [2018] compilation, out June 23. Keep an eye out for Tachyons' debut EP, coming soon.
