Last year, south London rhymer Kid Bookie released an 8-track project in You'll Rate Me When I'm Dead — powered by lead single "Premonition" alongside Dot Rotten and Nasaan (son of the late D12 frontman, Proof). Kid Bookie calls on his Detroit connects once again, going one further in recruiting D12's Swifty McVay for a remix of "Hey", which is another set standout. Thousands of miles away in locale but suitably similar in approach, the two trade twisting multi-syllabic bars over stumbling, drum-heavy production, courtesy of welsh beatsmith Lewis Cullen.
