French Montana Brought Out Drake During A Show In Toronto

The Splash Brothers reunite in Toronto, as French Montana multitasks by performing with Drake and working on his #Unforgettablechallenge.

While on the road on a series of tour dates presumably leading up to a scheduled June 11 appearance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, French Montana hit Rebel nightclub in Toronto. Given that Drake hails from Toronto, it wouldn’t necessarily have come as a surprise if French performed verses from “Pop That” or “No Shopping” for the hometown crowd.

French did them one better by bringing Drake out during “Pop That,” and Drizzy hung around while French worked on his two-step bop performing “Unforgettable.” French also and gave Drake the opportunity to enjoy some solo shine by serving as hype man during Drake’s performance of “Gyalchester.”

Naturally, French Montana captured the moment on Instagram, and one of his captions gave the impression he might have listened to Drake’s “Free Smoke” a few times. During a post featuring Drake addressing the crowd just before “Unforgettable,” French wrote, “Biggest tune for your head top. My splash brother forever.”

Since dropping MC4 last year, French has released the Migos and Chris Brown collaboration “Hold Up,” “Can’t Feel My Face” featuring Puff Daddy and the aforementioned “Unforgettable” with Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd. Drake also dropped in on The Weeknd during a recent Toronto tour stop.
