On Thursday, June 8, Chris Brown will release his documentary Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life in theaters nationwide, for one night only. The doc, produced by Riveting Entertainment, chronicles Brown's swift rise to fame with appearances from Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Jamie Foxx, and more.

It also takes viewers through some of the tumultuous  periods in his life, including his relationships and legal troubles over the past few years. Complex News' Nadeska Alexis sat down with Brown at his home in Los Angeles, to talk about the documentary, his upcoming eighth album Heartbreak on a Full Moon, and his hope to collaborate with Beyoncé one day.
