Hot on the heels of the recent Run EP and Freedom Drop mixtape, Tawiah is back with more soulful heat in the form of the "Recreate" video. Taken from the EP of the same name, "Recreate" is a brief but potent piece of honest self-examination, culminating in the question: "Who on earth have I become?" As Tawiah cuts her locks and shaves her head, her softly-sung vocals play out gently over the simple-but-effective production.
Although she's in the early stages of her career, Tawiah has already notched up an impressive start — having worked with Blood Orange, Ghostpoet, Wiley, Zed Bias, Cee-Lo Green and even being personally selected by Mark Ronson to front his band while on tour with Jay Z.
The Recreate EP comes out June 23 via her own Lima Limo label.
