Bristol boy and Complex Sessions contributor Conducta is back today with "Hurt Me", a new collaboration with Sheffield bass don Deadbeat. Centred around the combination of pitched up vocals and a grinding, throbbing bass line, "Hurt Me" is tailor-made for a peak-time bassline/4x4 rave.

"I had always liked Deadbeat's approach to production," says Conducta, "so we teamed up to try and get the best of bassline and UK garage on 'Hurt Me' with a classic house vocal. This track was made three years ago, and I think it is finally ready for it to come out." As Conducta gains more and more attention across the pond (Skrillex and the OSWLA gang are fans), it'll be interesting to see whether our U.S. fam will take to this sound the way they (mostly) did with grime.
