The production duo of Blairy Hendrix and Joshua Beatzz — who last linked up to create the beat behind "Dem Boi Paigon", J Hus' breakout song — have returned with a collaborative project titled Kindergarten 2, featuring Belly Squad, T-Mulla, Culprit and more. With the sweetness of the amalgamated sounds of Afrobeats and British rap, this set certainly hits the spot — and there's even some R&B for the ladies, too.
"TMG (Take Man's Gyal)" features London-based afrorap outfit Belly Squad, and is a clear standout. Underpinning braggadocios bars about, well, taking someone else's woman, synth stabs form the trapped-out melody — which is tied together with the rugged rhythm and bass to create this future hood anthem.
