It Sounds Like Jay Z Is in 'Album Mode'

Jay Z is in "album mode" according to a legendary producer he works with frequently.

If you're looking for more speculation on Jay Z potentially dropping an album in 2017, then you've come to the right place.

In the wee hours of Friday, Swizz Beatz took to Instagram to share a photo of him and Hov taking a casual stroll, and added the caption, "They don't even know what's about to happen Album ModeZone."

First, that's a heavy flex. Second, this "album mode" talk. Swizz previewed some new music back in December and has his own solo career, but let's be real: he wouldn't just share a photo of him and Jay Z and not realize the topic of conversation would be about the legendary Brooklyn MC. He knows exactly what he's doing.

Chatter of a Jay Z album picked up last week when it was revealed he would be headlining Made in America Festival this September alongside fellow Roc Nation artist J. Cole. It was also announced this week that Jay Z would be headlining ACL Fest in October.

If Swizz has been working with Jay Z on his new album, then he joins the ranks of Zaytoven and Mike Will Made-It, who have both been spotted with the rapper in recent times. Swizz Beatz previously worked on Hov's 2013 album Magna Carta Holy Grail.

If we're on this "Jay Z is dropping an album this summer" wave, then let me jump all the way out the window and predict it will come around the same time Beyoncé gives birth to their twins.
