Did we just get another preview of Pretty Girls Like Trap Music?

During his Sunday performance at Las Vegas’ Marquee, DJ Khaled shared a new 2 Chainz track featuring Travis Scott. The Major Key artist naturally posted the debut on Snapchat; however, there was something very familiar about the song.

It turns out the track Khaled played was the same one 2 Chainz teased back in January… but with an extremely noticeable difference. The original teaser included a Drake appearance in the studio with no signs of Travis, while Khaled promoted his preview as a Travis-assisted track with no mention of Drake.

So what happened? Did Drake ever record a verse to this track, and did it not make the cut? Or are both Drizzy and La Flame included in the final product? We’ll just have to keep our eyes and ears peeled, but 2 Chainz is definitely hyping this one up.

Though Khaled didn’t reveal where this track would land, it’s safe to assume it will be on 2 Chainz’s upcoming Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. The Georgia rapper announced the project’s release date last week with a star-studded trailer that included Pharrell, Mike Dean, and of course Drake.

“You can expect growth and maturation from 2 Chainz,” the rapper said during an appearance on The View. “[Pretty Girls Like Trap Music is] still edgy content, but trap music is kind of defined as low socio-economic background music where you have to hustle to get out. And it’s a situation where a lot of good girls used to like the bad guys. And that’s what this album is about.”

Pretty Girls Like Trap Music is set to drop June 16.
