Gemmy

After a four-year hiatus, Bristol dubstep legend Gemmy is back with a brand new EP, Bamboozled. The four-track release still roots itself in the psychedelic purple dubstep sound that he made his name with—and ultimately brought to labels like Punch Drunk and Planet Mu (along with cohorts like Joker and Guido)—but there are new elements this time. There's the minimalism and jazzy flourishes of "Champ", the grimey nostalgia of "16s", and then there's the maximalist pounding of the title-track, which you can listen to below. Let's just hope we don't have to wait another four years for the next drop.

The Bamboozled EP is out May 12 on Gemmy's World Of Wonders imprint.
