Fresh from releases on revered house music imprints such as Hot Creations and Electronique, UK producer Sean Branton releases his new EP, Night Mode, today. Coming out on vinyl-only house label Virtue Records, Complex has been given an exclusive taster in the shape of lead track "Lead".
Drawing inspiration from a range of sounds, including but not limited to soul, jazz and funk, "Lead" is a slow-building stomper, perfect for early warm-ups or late burn-downs. Speaking on the new EP, as well as the new label venture, Sean told us via email: "The time feels right to launch our new label and I'm super-excited to have the EP come out. I made it quite a while back now, and have been looking for the right way to get it out there."
