Beginning late last year, BBC 1Xtra host Jamz Supernova's Studio Bounce series has been premiering each episode right here on Complex. Each episode focuses on a different young British artist, giving us a look into their creative process. With two stand-out episodes featuring SG Lewis and Cadenza already behind her, Jamz headed up to Glasgow for episode three to meet Heka Trax boss Nightwave in her studio which turns out to have been a former sweets factory. They chatted about her set-up, the gear she learned to produce with and her upcoming EP on Fools Gold.
"Nightwave is such a respected producer in electronic music," Jamz told us via email. "I remember first hearing her music and being inspired by her work as a producer and a DJ. She's forthcoming in her music and the same goes for her personality! Loved hanging out with her in beautiful Glasgow and listening to tricks of the trade and advice from a G."

Jamz is hosting her own stage at Peckham Rye Music festival on May 19 where she will be bringing on Tala, Addison Groove plus Rinse & Radar DJs. Catch her on BBC Radio 1Xtra Tuesdays from 10pm and weekends from 1pm.
