Stormzy's in the headlines again today. Sadly, it's not because his new album Gangs Signs & Prayer is coming out Feb. 24. Nor is it because he's playing Coachella this year and the #GSAP tour is selling out at an astonishing rate. No. Stormzy's in the news because he's been the victim of mistaken identity. This morning, the "Big For Your Boots" emcee was unceremoniously awoken to find his front door had been kicked in by the police, apparently because they suspected he was a burglar.
The Met replied asking Stormzy to DM them so they can "take some more details". Hopefully this will be resolved quickly and with a full apology to Big Mikey. On a more positive note, we're mere days away from the drop of Gang Signs & Prayer and 2017 is shaping up to be the grime star's biggest year to date (no small thing given his meteoric rise from day one).
