American Airlines Reportedly Kicked Offset Off a Plane for Talking on the Phone

American Airlines did not take kindly to Offset talking on the phone, so they kicked the Migos member off a flight.

It doesn't look like Migos will be going cross the country anytime soon. In a profanity-laced tirade Offset unleashed on his Instagram earlier today (since deleted), he claims he was removed from a flight by American Airlines personnel.

The folks at TMZ preserved the video rant, which you can see up top. Offset not only goes off on the American Airlines staffer(s) that removed him, but their quality of service, and dismissed the seriousness of the matter by saying he'd just take a private plane instead.

Offset claims he was kicked off the flight because he was talking on the phone, which would certainly be a violation if it in fact took place during a prohibited portion of the flight. TMZ spoke with airline officials, who affirmed this fact and added that Offset was, "loud, disruptive and began cursing." The group reportedly did not leave in solidarity with the third member of their trio, with both Quavo and Takeoff said to have stayed on the Dallas-bound flight.

It has been an up-and-down 2017 for the Georgia-based rappers. Their new record, Culture, debuted at No. 1 overall on the Billboard charts with 130,000 equivalent sales in the project's first week. That exciting news was dampened bit this week, when the group came under fire for some insensitive comments about the sexuality of rapper/singer iLoveMakonnen. Migos later clarified and apologized for their remarks via their Twitter page:

Requests for comment from American Airlines' reps were not immediately returned. We'll keep you posted if there are any new developments.
