Lil Wayne and the Hot Boys Reunited at Beats Party Hosted by LeBron James, and It Was Awesome

LeBron James hosted a party during All-Star Weekend in New Orleans where Lil Wayne and the Hot Boys reunited.

LeBron James' list of signature achievements just keeps growing and growing. An iconic block and historic Finals win in 2016 helped cement his legacy as one of the greatest to ever step on the hardwood, and the superstar who proved you can always come home again is helping other stars reunite in 2017.

Hosting an All-Star Weekend party for Beats by Dre in New Orleans last night, James was present for a huge musical moment in 2017: the reunion of Lil Wayne and the Hot Boys in their hometown.

Usually the picture of discretion and calm in the public eye, LeBron could hardly contain his excitement as he explained the significance of the moment to the guests at his party.

"I don't know if these people fully appreciate what's going on tonight," said James. "Yo, we got mothaf**kin' Hot Boys in this mothaf**ka right now. I got to make sure, because this is my party, I got to make sure people fully understand what's going on tonight.

After letting the crowd know, "I grew up on these boys right here," he ceded the stage to the New Orleans natives. Not everyone could be in attendance, obviously—BG is currently in prison for felony firearm possession, and Birdman is currently locked in a legal dispute with Wayne over millions Tunechi claims he's owed—but between Wayne, Mannie Fresh, Juvenile, and Young Turk, there was more than enough of the crew on hand for the crowd to go wild over.

The hip-hop collective performed a string of classics, hitting everything from Wayne solo tracks like "Go DJ" to the Big Tymers hit, "Still Fly," with Wayne filling Birdman's role alongside Mannie:

Legal issues are preventing a full-scale reunion at this point, but maybe we'll all be lucky enough to see the full gang come back together again one day. For now, you'll have to live vicariously through some Twitter videos and pretend you were able to witness a small piece of history at All-Star Weekend.
