UK rap star Giggs has just announced his new gig as the host of his own show on Apple Music radio station Beats 1. In an interview today with Beats 1 host Julie Adenuga, Giggs revealed: "We're going to play whatever; grime, rap... It's gonna be all UK though. Man just wants to run some riddims, and now have the platform to do it." The SN1 Show will premiere this Friday (Feb. 10) with two hours of the hardest UK rap music, handpicked by Hollowman himself.

After the huge success of his album, Landlord, hitting the charts at No. 2—and with tickets for his headline tour currently on sale—it is now the collective, and record label, SN1, that will usher in the new generation of British street rappers. When asked if he has plans to rival Stormzy and his DJ Tiny's show, Giggs said: "Not in a bad way, but there's no competition man. I DJ myself—man scratches!—Hollowman on the wheels of steel. Big up Stormzy, though."

SN1's debut show will present the rapper and his official DJ, Big Ryde, to Apple Music's international audience. They'll be taking us on a trip down memory lane, with strictly SN1 tracks all the way back from the early mixtapes days to today's club monsters, and Complex can exclusively reveal that his unreleased track, "I'm Down", will also be included in the mix.
