Beyoncé's Pregnancy Reportedly a Surprise to Coachella Producers

News of Bey and Jay's twins was reportedly a big surprise to everyone, including the Coachella team.

In case you don't own or otherwise operate a smartphone or related electronic device, allow us to remind you that Beyoncé announced Wednesday that she and husband Jay Z were expecting twins. The news, which rippled across Twitter with predictable quickness, was exactly the sort of story we needed in a year that has been nothing but a marathon of sadness so far. According toTMZ, the news even came as a surprise to AEG Live—the company behind this year's Beyoncé-headlined Coachella festival.

Sources toldTMZ Wednesday that "at least some" top executives had "no idea" Beyoncé was expecting, an alleged fact that's apparently causing some problems behind the scenes. Beyoncé is reportedly "4, maybe 5 months" pregnant and Coachella is slated for April, leading sources to claim "it's unclear" if she will perform. Another source, however, has (jokingly?) floated the idea that Beyoncé could just borrow Dave Grohl's big beloved chair for the set.
