Shakka Drops Visuals For "Don't Call Me"

Last year, Brit-R&B don Shakka sold out KOKO, won Best R&B/Soul Act at the MOBOs for the second year running and then capped it off with his second EP, The Island. Shakka now drops the video for "Don't Call Me", the lead single from that second EP. As you can probably guess from the title, "Don't Call Me" tells the story of a pretty harsh break-up, told through flashbacks triggered by each part of his day. The visuals, directed by Asylum 33, are a welcome addition to Shakka's video arsenal, adhering once again to his history of story-telling through bold concepts. Ray Fiasco, photographer and visual artist of Asylum 33, commented: "I've wanted to work with Shakka for a while, to capture the energy of his music in a visual, and I really think 'Don't Call Me' captures that so well. He's really great to work with; he brought such a cool energy to the day, so we're all really happy with it all overall."
