Wu-Tang affiliate Solomon Childs, most notably of the Ghostface Killah-backed Theodore Unit, is reportedly in stable condition after sustaining gunshot wounds to the neck and back during a shooting Saturday morning. Childs, whose government name is Walbert Ryan Dale, was shot near 1418 Forest Ave at approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

“Police are still searching for the shooting suspects,” reported Kristin F. Dalton for the Stated Island Advance and SI Live. “According to police radio transmissions, the suspects fled westbound down Forest Avenue in a 1997 green Nissan Maxima. A police spokesman said the shooting is not being investigated as a robbery at this time.”

Solomon Childs, who has also previously recorded under the name Killa Bamz, is the younger brother of Wu-Tang Clan’s Cappadonna. His most notable appearance was on 2010’s Wu-Massacre album by Method Man, Raekwon, and Ghostface Killah. Solomon Childs has also appeared on projects by Theodore Unit, Northstar, and Cappadonna.

The Staten Island MC was reportedly transported to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton immediately after the shooting.
