Partynextdoor has finally spoken out following the removal of Jeremih from the lineup of their joint Summer's Over Tour.

"I appreciate everybody filling up this room, and standing in this room, and not refunding your ticket, because you want to see a real person," he told the crowd. "I might not have the most hits in the game that’s under my name—I might not sing the best falsetto...Everyone knows I'm a real person and I don't have time for any other fake shit. I can't do fake shit. I'm not calling nobody fake, I'm just saying."

The whole thing allegedly began because Jeremih wanted to be listed as a co-headliner on the tour. News of a beef started to surface after the Chicago stop when Jeremih dropped the mic and stormed off stage. "Truth is 'they' didnt want me 2 perform tonight..it sad people will take ur money and blatantly make it seem like I only want to do 2 songs," he later tweeted of the incident. Then, he allegedly sent a stunt double to perform for him on the Houston stop of the tour. The tension seemingly came to a head after Jeremih dissed PND on stage in Dallas, calling him a "bitch ass ni**a." Jeremih was removed from the final dates and Live Nation offered fans full refunds on tickets to the tour.

Prior to the tension and tour, Jeremih actually announced that he and PND were working on a collaborative album. As recently as November, PND even discussed how the two were hitting the studio together. "Our energies are similar, you know? When you get into the studio, you never know who is going to fit your energy. I'm just glad that we can co-exist. It's never competitive with us. It's just fun."
