Nick Cannon sat down for an interview with Vlad TV where he was pressed about his stance on abortion. "I actually I'm not pro-choice and I'm not pro-life." He went on to say that his opinions have more to do with the systemic issues relating to the founder of Planned Parenthood. "Margaret Sanger and all the people who follow eugenics and all that stuff—it was all about cleansing. Margaret Sanger said she wanted to exterminate the negro race and that she was going to use her organization that she founded to do so."

Cannon elaborated on his views, noting that his mother's consideration to terminate her own pregnancy with him didn't impact his views. "That never made me say I feel one way or another because as a man, I don't have the right to speak on what a woman should do with her body. I don't feel like the government should have the right. I don't feel like any organization that makes money should have the right to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with her body. A woman should make that decision. That's why I don't speak on that."

If you remember, Cannon previously touched on this subject in a different interview. He shared a similar sentiment when he sat down with The Breakfast Club in November, explaining that the organization perpetrates genocide through abortions. "Think about all the stuff they did with Planned Parenthood and all that type of stuff. That type of stuff is to take our community—and forget gentrification, it’s real genocide, and it's been like that for years," he said.

Back in 2005, he also touched on the subject in in his song "Can I Live" where he revealed his mom considered terminating her pregnancy with him. USA Today later pressed him on his political stance following the release of the song. "I'm not pro-life or pro-choice. I'm pro-Nick. I'm just happy to be here," he said.
