Joey Badass and CJ Fly don’t stop going in during an appearance on Statik Selektah’s Showoff Radio on Shade 45. Though it aired last Thursday (Dec. 8), you can now watch it above if you missed it at the time.

CJ Fly is on a promotional run for his long-awaited album Flytrap, and paid a visit to Statik Selektah’s Showoff Radio with Joey Badass to drop some bars over some classic beats.

Kicking off with Jay Electronica’s “Exhibit C,” CJ starts strong and Joey comes in with some dope rhymes of his own. Statik then switches it up to Drake’s “Fear,” where they they show off their chemistry with by going back and forth with off-the-top verses.

At the end, Statik throws on a 2009 throwback by Styles P and Talib Kweli (“The Thrill Is Gone”) from his 100 Proof: The Hangover album. Joey throws on a hook, and the pair once again trade rhymes. "Statik, send that. We need that for the Pro Era album man," CJ says at the end. Maybe a remake for the album?
