With a collaboration with A-Trak and Jesse Boykins III already getting love, it made sense for the Syndey, Australi-born, L.A.-based Tommy Trash to link up with Nick Catchdubs, aka the other head of Fool's Gold, for a heater from his forthcoming Group Chat EP. Tommy's been exciting crowds across the globe for the last decade, and his material truly brings the party to the house that A-Trak and Nick built. Group Chat, which features collaborations with fellow Fool's Gold companions Gladiator, Madeaux, and Kittens, is all about getting it in with your friends, and "OMG" is no exception.

The key to "OMG" is the old school leaning throughout the track. From the throwback rave stabs to the dusty breakbeats, this is a cut that's hyper familiar, but with a twist. Lacing those catchy vocals in the intro, Tommy and Nick build a beautiful tune and turn it on its ear with a chunky, funky bassline. There's also a neat saxophone thrown in for good measure midway. At just under three minutes, "OMG" packs a helluva punch in a nice and compact track.

"Nick and I wanted to create something here that was a mix of our musical influences and personalities," Tommy says about the collaboration. "The result [is] some throw back hip house party vibes done in a slightly techier way...oh and sax, lots of sax." When asking about working with Tommy, Nick Catchdubs had nothing but amazing things to say about the talent.

"Tommy is a talented DJ and producer—but more than that, a true bon vivant. His up-for-anything spirit fueled our tour (the pictures of Tommy making me wear a wig and play the "Grey Goose flute" prove it) and made this track happen." When it comes to the actual creation of the track, Nick makes it sound like it easy af: "'OMG' came together magically: I had the vocal, Tommy had the sax, we added a laser, and here we are. I want to give him a hug and a shot right now."

"OMG," "Lover," and more Tommy Trash collabs will be available on Group Chat. Stream "OMG" below, and make sure you've saved your funds for this release when it drops on Nov. 18.
