Pharrell is in charge of the soundtrack for the upcoming film Hidden Figures, and he's just released the latest song from the project. "Crave" is a jazzy track that features his signature production.

"So help me/I'm on the sidewalk/I'm falling over you craving/Rockin' back and forth," he sings on the chorus. "Take what you want/Take what you need/We'll be around baby/Girl now you're free/You shoot me down baby/Bang bang feel the pain."

"Crave" is the third song Pharrell has released from the soundtrack, following "Runnin'" and "Surrender." He's been a busy man recently, also contributing to Kid Cudi's Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin single "Surfin'," as well as lending a major hand in curating our first annual ComplexCon.

Hidden Figures is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day and will star Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monáe, and Octavia Spencer. The three women play NASA scientists who helped the U.S. catch up in the Space Race of the 1960s without receiving proper credit. It's already receiving Oscar buzz.

In addition to taking care of the soundtrack, Pharrell is the movie's producer. "After my producing partner Mimi Valdés and I heard about this project, we basically begged the producers and studio to allow us to participate,” he told Variety back in April. “This is an extraordinary story about black women with genius mathematical minds who contributed to American history. It takes place in Virginia, my home state, and at NASA, a place I’ve been obsessed with since childhood.”

You can listen to Pharrell's new song "Crave" above, and look out for Hidden Figures in theaters on Christmas day.
