French Montanapromised new music was on the way and he delivered Wednesday with his new track, "Unforgivable."

The track arrives a couple days after French's original Monday release date, but the delay was worth the wait with the rapper delivering a straight out slapper that ebbs and grooves with a welcomed intensity.

"Feeling like I'm fresh out, Boosie/If they want the drama, got the uzi/Shipped the whole crew to a cruise ship/Doing shit you don’t even see in movies," he spits. The release seems to be a birthday offering from French who is celebrating turning 32 today. As he put it, it's "BDAY LOVE FOR THE PEOPLE."

The new song arrives only days after French decided to unleash the long-anticipated and delayed MC4 as a free project. The release was intended to be the rapper's studio album, but was reportedly delayed due to some sample clearances before being completely abandoned after Target locations mistakenly put it on its shelves. Leaks of the project still lingered across the internet, which is why French hit up DatPiff's Kyle "KP" Reilly to give his songs a formal release.

The rapper also hit up Complex's inaugural ComplexCon that went down in Long Beach last weekend. He, alongside Vince Staples, Raekwon, and legends Scarface and Pete Rock debated in rap's generation gap for one incredible panel during a weekend of epic moments.

Listen to "Unforgivable" below and happy birthday French.
