The "global media brand and social impact company" GOOD Worldwide announced on Monday that it is partnering with Google's new phone Pixel to put on a unique festival. GOODFest, billed as "a livestream festival for good," will take place in November and December in five different cities across the country. Each of the shows will take place on a different day (Nov. 29 in New York City, Dec. 9 in New Orleans, Dec. 12 in Seattle, and TBA dates in Los Angeles and San Francisco), will feature different musical acts, and will benefit a different cause.

Every show, as per the festival's tagline, will be livestreamed on YouTube Live and Facebook Live. The NYC gig will feature Glass Animals, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and more; Gogol Bordello will headline New Orleans, with Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs adding a "one-off orchestration"; and D.R.A.M. will be performing in Seattle. Proceeds from the NYC show will go to benefit DonorsChoose.org, a "civic crowdfunding" organization that allows people to donate to public school classroom projects. No information about which organizations will benefit from the other shows was available as of press time.
