Bruno Mars is set to drop his new album 24K Magic this week, and he doubles down on the anticipation this evening by announcing an accompanying world tour for 2017. Fittingly titled after his soon-to-be-released project, the eight-month, 85-date trek will see Mars traveling across Europe starting in March and hitting the U.S. from July to November.

Expected stops stateside include Chicago, NYC, Boston, Miami, and Los Angeles.

On the music side, Mars has released the title track to 24K Magic and "Versace on the Floor." He also debuted "Chunky" during his recent appearance on Saturday Night Live, though he's yet to release the official version. These records show off a diverse side to what the 31-year-old star has on tap for his upcoming album.

Earlier this month, Mars spoke at length about his new album with Beats 1's Zane Lowe, explaining he wants his music to do the talking and leave it at that. "I don't want to be known for any...scandals or controversy. I want to be the guy that brings joy to your life through his music. That's it," he said.

Check out the full schedule for Bruno Mars' upcoming tour below and pre-order 24K Magicon iTunes. Tickets for the tour will be available to the public Nov. 21.
