Earlier this year, enigmatic rapper Shadez The Misfit dropped "Rendition" and the immersive, THMWY-produced "Fires", both taken from his upcoming Ne Plus Ultra EP (translation: "The highest point, as of excellence"). The latter track, a melodic piece of hip-hop that saw Shadez's unique flow balanced by the pained tones of Mancunian singer Bipolar Sunshine, now has an accompanying video, directed by Dumas Haddad, and it's as enthralling and surreal as you'd hope.
It's looking like a strong time for Bipolar Sunshine as well, with each and every appearance garnering more and more critical acclaim (GAIKA's "Bohdy Knows At 90" being a prime example). With both artists carving out their own places in the world, the future bodes very well, not just for Shadez The Misfit and Bipolar Sunshine, but also for British music.
