Days after teasing his collaboration with Nas via a quickly-deleted Instagram post, Robin Thicke has finally unveiled the final product.

On Monday, the 39-year-old singer dropped “Deep,” a smooth R&B track that addresses a wide range of personal and political topics. The single begins with an insane acapella rap by Esco, who mentions everything from police brutality to racial tensions to GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump: “And you don’t think it’s an emergency/A toupée-wearing liar is tryna run the USA.”

Thicke’s verses are less heavy, as he sings about his past love life. He reflects on relationship issues that he is trying to get over: “It ain’t that deep, we ain’t gotta lose sleep/We could be everything, everything that we ever needed, everything that we ever wanted to be/We could still be, it ain’t that deep.”

The song's release is sure to excite Thicke’s fanbase, as it suggests another album is headed our way. Thicke hasn’t released a full-length project since 2014’s Paula, which he dedicated to his ex-wife, Paula Patton.
