Mac Miller's excellent The Divine Feminine is out Friday, meaning you know our guy Mac had to hit the late-night circuit to shred an album cut for the masses. Anderson .Paak joined Mac on Stephen Colbert's Late Show on Thursday night to perform their collab "Dang!" with some help from Jon Batiste and the Stay Human crew. As you might expect, Batiste's flourishes only make the track even more of a necessary listen.

The Divine Feminine also features appearances from Bilal, Ty Dolla $ign, Njomza, CeeLo Green, Ariana Grande, and a particularly exciting collaboration with Kendrick Lamar. "It's such a feeling and a journey, that's why I love that record," Mac told Zane Lowe while speaking about the Kendrick collab on Thursday. "It goes so many places. It sounds like being in the ocean, relaxing, calm, floating and just like there and comfortable in your thoughts, and that's how the record ends, which is so awesome."

Speaking with Complex earlier this month, Mac explained the intended universality of the album's title. "The Divine Feminine, to me, is the universe. I'd hate to be cliché, like, 'I looove the universe, maaan,'" Mac said. "But it's so real. Treating the world how you're supposed to treat a female is awesome. The more you make love to it and the less you try to fuck it, the better it all becomes for you. It's a deeper experience with life."

Mac kicks off a three-month tour this weekend in Pittsburgh, with a hectic route that sees him taking the Divine Feminine vibes all the way down to Atlanta, back up to Vancouver, and (almost) every place in between. Peep the full tour schedule here.
