According to model and confirmed squad member Gigi Hadid, it seems as though Taylor Swift is back in the recording studio. When asked about Swift during an interview with Entertainment Tonight following the launch of her collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger during New York Fashion Week, the 21 year-old said, "She’s obviously such a great friend, and you know, she is starting to go back to work in the studio again."

Swift was actually in attendance during Hadid's show, and at one point even mouthed along to the words of her former boyfriend Calvin Harris' song "This is What You Came For," which she helped write. "[She] really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that,” Hadid said later.

If it's true that Swift is once again writing and recording new music, she certainly won't have a lack of new subject matter to pull from. The singer is famous for crafting songs that touch on things that happened to her in her own life. "Bad Blood" is allegedly about her feud with fellow pop icon Katy Perry; "Dear John" is said to be about her one-time lover John Mayer; and "We Are Never Ever, Ever Getting Back Together" is rumored to be about the actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

Considering all that's happened to her in just the last six months—including her breakup with Harris, the infamous #TaylorSwiftIsOver party hosted by Kim Kardashian after she revealed footage of the singer okay-ing her husband Kanye West's song "Famous," and now her most recent break up with Tom Hiddleston—you have to imagine that she's going to bring the heat.
