Alex Tumay, engineer to Young Thug, Metro Boomin, Future, Gucci Mane, and basically everyone else who's hot in hip-hop, has been paying attention to the Colin Kaepernick "Star Spangled Banner" controversy just like everyone else. But unlike most other people, he has the musical expertise to make his commentary in audio form.

On Monday night, Tumay began tweeting some musings about the song. Very quickly, though, it turned into making plans for a trap remix of the tune. He even teased his followers with an excerpt, which you can check out above.

I'll take @RickyRacksICU, @LondonOnDaTrack, @MetroBoomin etc over Francis Scott Key 10 times outta 10.

I'll stand for the national anthem when I hear the 808 Mafia siren in it.

I'm just might just have to remake the entire star spangled banner in FL Studio.
