Most fans are used to seeing Drake's annual OVO Fest from the audience, but few of them get to peek behind the curtain and see things from the other side. Thankfully, OVO has you covered. On Monday, the label released a fun and fascinating photo series that explores the Toronto music festival from the artists' point of view. The collection includes tons of candid backstage photos of artists like Kanye West, French Montana, and Metro Boomin, as well as basketball players like LeBron James. The photos cover all four days of OVO Fest as well as its basketball tournament and the OVO Fest Summit.
This year's OVO Fest was another big moment for the label. Although it started off with some bumps when Beanie Man was forced to cancel his performance after contracting Zika virus, the festival ended up going off pretty smoothly. Drake and Rihanna duetted together on stage, OVO newbies like Roy Wood$ and dvsn got to showcase their best material, and Future tore things down in his customary manner. Kanye even made a surprise appearance, and grabbed some headlines when he revealed that he and Drake were supposedly working on a collaborative project. We're still waiting on the details of that one, but suffice to say it got people excited.
