Frank Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry zine presented one of the year’s most talked about pieces of poetry. You already know what we’re talking about: It was Kanye West’s The McDonald’s Man.

In the piece, 'Ye pays tribute to the fast-food chain’s staple menu items—giving a shoutout to everything from the cheeseburgers and the French fries to the shakes and "that smooth apple pie." Needless to say, many people loved how amazingly weird the poem was. Even Joey Bada$$ appeared to be moved by the words, as he recited the piece during a recent stop at Hot 97. And, now, it seems that McDonald’s has responded to Kanye with a poem of its own.

As you can see, restaurant chain didn't address Kanye or the poem by name. But judging by its form and the caption, it's safe to say McDonald's enjoyed the work as much as the rest of us.
