Tinashe makes a triumphant return with her new single, "Superlove." The-Dream and Tricky Stewart produced track is a sleek '80s inspired confection of syrupy pop that goes down real smooth before Tinashe flips the whole thing around by rapping her own verse mid-song. It's an easy contender for a summer smash with it's breezy, free-flowing chords made all the sweeter by that incredible voice of Tinashe.

It's been nearly a year since Tinashe announced her forthcoming album, Joyridewhich we are still waiting on for a firm release. She has definitely stayed on our radar by releasing a couple of singles including the Chris Brown-assisted "Player," her Young Thug collaboration, "Party Favors," and "Ride of Your Life," but she quickly headed back on her Joyride Tour before cancelling the remainder of her dates in April to put the finishing touches on her album.

"Trust me, I am as eager to get it out to you as you are to hear it. I will be wrapping up the finishing touches on Joyride by the end of May, and will be back on the road shortly thereafter to see all of you," she wrote to her fans at the time.

The release of "Superlove" is definitely a good sign that Tinashe is moving in the direction of a full release of her new album, which fans have eagerly been waiting years for as the follow up to 2014's Aquarius.
