Sir Mick Jagger, 72 years young, will soon welcome his eighth child. The storied Rolling Stones frontman and his partner, Melanie Hamrick, are currently expecting their first kid together, BBC Newsconfirms. Jagger previously became a great-grandfather back in 2014 when Assisi, Jade Jagger's daughter, gave birth to a girl.

Hamrick, 29, is an American ballerina with credits in a slew of critically acclaimed American Ballet Theatre productions including Romeo and Juliet, Sleeping Beauty, Dark Elegies, and more. "This is great news," a source close to Hamrick told the Sun Friday. "It will be Mick's eighth child and nothing fazes him. He's been incredibly supportive."

Jagger will have good company when it comes to impending fatherhood, as Rolling Stones bandmate Ronnie Wood recently welcomed twins. The 68-year-old guitarist is married to Sally Humphreys, a theater producer. Jagger's seven other children range in ages from 17 all the way to 45, so you know all the family gatherings are awesome.

The Rolling Stones are currently finishing up work on a new album that will reportedly see the legendary rock band putting their blues influences on full display. "It was a surprise to us," guitarist Keith Richards toldBBC News in April. "We didn't intend doing it. I wish I could play them to you now. I'm so excited about them." According to the band, they were able to lay down 11 songs in just 2 days.

Congrats, Mick! Truly inspirational stuff. The question, however, remains: Who has the better moves between Desiigner and Sir Mick? The debate rages on.
