Rae Sremmurd's SremmLife 2 is just around the corner, and Sunday they liberated their remix of "Look Alive." The track builds on the original, with each of the Migos rappers delivering a solid verse.

Slim Jxmmi also comes through with a new contribution, rapping "Shopping, popping pills and getting lit/Fuck it, I'm a take some shots off of tens/All these local thots on my list/You ain't throwing bands then they throwing fits/I can feel the drank takin' over me/I wanna know who I'm leavin' wit'/I'm looking for a country thick, chocolate bitch that can take a dick/I'm so faded girl that's why I'm talking slick."

SremmLife 2 was originally set to come out in June, but ended up getting pushed back to Aug. 12. Some have speculated that the delay was due to "Look Alive" not connecting as well as their pre-SremmLife bangers "No Flex Zone" and "No Type." Still, the duo promised that it would "be worth the wait," and recently unleashed their new single "#DoYoga." With Mike WiLL Made-It continuing to hold things down for them on the production end, and with their image gracing the cover of Fader and popping up on countless music sites, the album is sure to be a bit of an event.

While you wait for SremmLife 2 to finally surface, you can stream Rae Sremmurd's "Look Alive" remix f/ Migos below or purchase it on iTunes here. You can also relive the original video for "Look Alive" here.
