Continuing the hopefully long and fruitful collaboration started by the Them Or Me EP, Nico Lindsay and The Last Skeptik are back with a brand new EP, Tales From 1990 (out Aug. 5), and on "Stoop Season" they've brought Trim along for the ride. As with the previous project, the cohesion between all three is palpable; Skeptik's bluesy hip-hop beat is an ideal backdrop for both MCs' tumbling, poetic styles, giving us one of the coldest collaborations in recent memory and, though we always want to see more of Trim, it's cool to hear Nico Lindsay spreading his wings on a release. His "Storm" collaboration with Lorenzo BITW and TSVI hinted at what he could do on his own, and the upcoming material looks set to confirm that.
