Nick Jonas continues to shine during his solo career, as the former boy band singer just released his new album, Last Year Was Complicated

On the album, it's clear Nick is taking music cues from the likes of Justin Timberlake who also left a boy band past for a more soulful, R&B-drenched sound. Still, Nick is clearly carving out his own niche by keeping his pop past fully intact and looking to huge artists across genres for features on the album including Ty Dolla $ign, Big Sean, and Tove Lo. He even picks up Hall of Famer Allen Iverson for a quick assist on the bridge on "Comfortable," a track he also shouts out his friend and mentor Jay Z.
