With the promise of a debut album later this year, vocalist/producer Fredwave drops "WAR", billed as the eighth track from the forthcoming set that signals, in spite of what may seem slow and random at times in terms if output, there is a meticulous plan forming behind the scenes. Armed with a production style that heavily employs elements of grime, the choice of featured emcee—Bloodline's President T—is an inspired one as the off-kilter structure of his rhymes bounce off the abstract stabbed synths either side of Fredwave's searing, haunting vocal.
