The Blaze's Tomi Lahren invited Genius' Rob Markman on her show Thursday to talk about her much discussed audio clip, which Pusha T and Jay Z sampled on their new track, "Drug Dealers Anonymous." When Lahren asked Markman if she is kind of a rapper now that she has been on a track with the two hip hop legends, Markman confirmed she is very much now in the game and is a part of their world whether she likes it or not, all while donning a Roc Nation hat.

"I think it was just a spark for him to really talk artistically about how far he has come...I don't think there's a beef here." Meanwhile, Markman also confirmed Pusha T's note that Lahren's comments inspired the two rappers to write the song, which Lahren said she didn't mind at all and admitted she has no beef with Jay Z either.

It seems like Lahren really wanted to use the opportunity to distinguish between her seemingly approving and practically enjoying her feature on the track versus her denying Beyoncé the right to play the same audio clip on the Formation World Tour. Lahren confirmed the fact that she rejected Beyoncé's proposal before adding that to her, both opportunities seem very different. "The fact that I rejected Beyoncé using me to racespade her audience is very different to me than using my sound bite in a rap song."

She then asked Markman how to get back in the good graces of the hip-hop community and the music industry veteran quickly suggests that she do a remix. "That's how we settle things in hip-hop," he asserts. He definitely might be onto something there. She actually goes one step farther and asked Markman how she can possibly get herself in the music video.

If you don't remember, Lahren got many people fired up when she critiqued the hell out of Beyoncé's Super Bowl 50 halftime performance and Jay Z's past as a drug dealer on a now infamous episode of The Blaze. A clip of her explicitly saying "Your husband was drug dealer, For 14 years he sold crack cocaine" is definitely a notable part of the entire track. The whole entire interview was a pretty genius idea for both parties. Watch the whole thing above and read Pusha T's full explanation of how the track came together here.

"Are we constantly going to be defined as who we were, or can we be defined as who we are..."
